From April 1 to May 30, fishing is prohibited in the vicinity of Grodno on the Augustów Canal from the lock near the village of Nеmnоvо to the confluence with the Neman River, as well as in the floodplain waters of the river (backwaters near the villages of Kеlbaski and Bеrеzhany). In the Mosty District of the Grodno Region, the ban is imposed on the lakes Stary Neman-1 (near the village of Khаrtsitsa), Vinoboyskoye, and Novoye (near the village of Novinka), and the backwater near the village of Dubno.
In Mogilev and its suburbs, amateur fishing is prohibited on the section of the Dnieper River and adjacent waters from the water intake of the S.M. Kirov Mogilev Automobile Plant to the mouth of the Debrya River. In the Svisloch District of the Grodno Region and Pruzhany District of the Brest Region, it is prohibited on the section of the Narew River from the southwestern corner of compartment 176 to the southwestern corner of compartment 206 of the Oshchep Forestry of the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park.
From March 20 to May 18, the ban will be in effect in the Luninets District of the Brest Region for 2.5 km upstream along the Mikashevichi Canal to the confluence with the Pripyat River and for 500 m upstream and downstream of the river.
The corresponding decision was made based on the rules for conducting fishing and fish farming. Resolutions No. 9 dated March 14, 2012, and No. 6 dated March 19, 2014, are declared invalid.
The resolution comes into force after its official publication.
