Olga Sokolovskaya, chairperson of the Lepel District Organisation of the Belarusian Association of the Visually Impaired (BelTIZ), decided to gather young people who care about the problems of others. At the Territorial Centre for Social Services for the Population, she organised the club "From Heart to Heart," which will unite volunteers. Cleaning the home of a lonely elderly person, visiting the sick, helping people with disabilities – there are enough good deeds for everyone. Many events for people with disabilities are held in the district, but not all of them can attend due to the lack of transport. Volunteers will be able to rectify this situation. Incidentally, the first volunteers have already responded. These are people with disabilities themselves who are capable of helping others. To attract young people to good deeds, a meeting was held with students of the Lepel Agricultural and Technical College. By the way, anyone wishing to join the ranks of volunteers can do so by contacting the coordinator, Olga Sokolovskaya, by phone at 4-22-14 between 9:00 and 13:00.
