The regional centre will host the Pskov Region Days on 20-21 November. The packed programme will be opened by the logistics forum "Goods + Destination = Export" with the participation of representatives from companies of the Russian region – an event organised by the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dialogue and expert meetings will take place in the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall.
Simultaneously, a presentation fair showcasing the potential of the Pskov Region will open in the foyer. Guests will be offered products manufactured by local companies: from teas, candied fruits, cheese products and stewed meat to escargots in sauce and village preserves.
The second day will start with an exchange of experience in the sphere of state employment policy. Representatives of the relevant committees and departments of the two regions will discuss this topic during a round table.
A working meeting is planned between representatives of the Ministry of Youth Policy of the Pskov Region and the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Tourist information centres of both sides will hold a constructive dialogue to discuss the nuances of cross-border cooperation in the field and sign cooperation agreements.
Participants of the international scientific and educational round table will dedicate their meeting to the Great Patriotic War. Key topics include preserving historical memory and countering attempts to falsify history. Delegations will honour the memory of heroes at Victory Square near the Memorial Complex to Soviet Soldiers-Liberators, Partisans and Underground Fighters of the Vitebsk Region.
The official programme will conclude with the XI meeting of the Working Group on Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Pskov Region of the Russian Federation.
Incidentally, the Pskov Region Days events will be held at several venues, including the "Vitebsk Hotel" tourist and hotel complex and VSU named after P. Masherov.
