The best team of young Olympians' clubs of the Vitebsk region will be determined on January 6, BELTA was informed by the NOC representative office in the Vitebsk region. On this day, the final of the regional sports games for young Olympians' clubs "Olympic Holidays" will be held in the sports hall of the Vitebsk Central Sports Complex "Dynamo". The participants of the final stage of the competition – representatives of six clubs from Vitebsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, and Orsha – were named during the zonal qualifying rounds, which took place during the autumn holidays in Polotsk, Orsha, and the regional center. A total of 160 teenagers aged 12-13 from 20 young Olympians' clubs in the region took part in them. The final part of the sports games includes team and individual competitions, and will also be rich in demonstration performances by young gymnasts, acrobats, vocal and dance numbers. The festive atmosphere of the sports festival will be supported by Mishka-Olimpishka. Winners will be awarded medals and valuable prizes. The event is aimed at popularizing the Olympic movement, physical culture and sports, and promoting the organization of active recreation for schoolchildren during the holidays. The organizers of the sports games were the representative office of the NOC of Belarus in the Vitebsk region and the education department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.-0-
