The professional skills competition is being organised for the second time and will take place on April 28 at the branch of bus depot No. 1 of Vitebsk OJSC "Vitebskoblavtotrans" (Tereshkova St., 7). The competition will feature 12 conductors from various districts of the Vitebsk region who have passed preliminary qualifying rounds. The final stage will be held in an active competitive format, testing theoretical knowledge of the profession, demonstrating skills in quick passenger service, and accuracy in handling cash. Significant importance will also be given to revealing the creative potential of the employees.
"Today's conductor not only collects fares but also maintains order in the cabin, provides information about the route and stops, and performs many other functions. As passengers say, a conductor's smile when you board the bus in the morning can lift your spirits," the press service noted.
The competition aims to draw attention to the conductor profession, promote its prestige, enhance employees' professional skills, and improve service quality. The event is organised by OJSC "Vitebskoblavtotrans" and the joint trade union organisation of the enterprise.
