When?" and "Own Game" will take part in the "Slavyanka-2012" tournament, a stage of the "What? Where? When?" World Cup, which will be held on August 4-5 in Vitebsk, BelTA was informed by the tournament's press secretary. To play "What? Where? When?", 33 teams from six countries will come to Vitebsk: 18 teams will represent Russia, 6 teams - Belarus, 3 teams each will come from Latvia and Ukraine, 2 - from Estonia, and one from Azerbaijan. In addition, the tournament will be attended by Max Potashev, Anatoly Wasserman, Ilya Novikov, and Mikhail Levandovsky, while the master of "What? Where? When?", Alexander Druze, will head the appeals jury at "Slavyanka", dealing with the experts' claims regarding the tournament questions. By the way, the experts will have to answer 75 questions, divided into five equal rounds. As reported by the tournament's press secretary, this year the participants will have a chance to prove themselves not only at the gaming table but also during the "Night Show". On the night of August 4-5, players will perform various tasks on the streets of Vitebsk related to the city's rich history. Also, on the evening of the first game day, "Slavyanka" guests will visit the Vitebsk Art Museum, where they will be offered guided tours of the galleries of Russian art of the 18th - first half of the 20th centuries and Belarusian art of the 18th - first half of the 19th centuries. The tournament is organized by the intellectual club of the "Vitebsk Culture Centre" and the Department for Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Stages of the "What? Where? When?" World Cup are being held in Vitebsk for the third time. This year, "Slavyanka-2012" will take place at the Ice Sports Palace. Admission for spectators to the tournament is free.-0-
