On September 29, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The best young volunteers of the Vitebsk region are working in Polotsk, Orsha and Gluboksky district, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM. It became possible to find out where the region's best volunteers are working after the results of the regional stage of the republican competition "Youth for the Purity of Cities and Villages" were summarized. In total, 28 creative reports on the work of volunteer detachments and camps were submitted for the regional round of the competition. Winners were determined in five nominations. As a result, the first place in the nomination "Best Volunteer Detachment (Camp) among Student Youth" was shared by the consolidated volunteer detachment of the Polotsk city organization of the BRSM and the consolidated volunteer detachment of student youth of the Orsha city committee of the BRSM. The best volunteer detachment among university students was the "White Lily" detachment of the primary organization of the BRSM of Polotsk State University. The "Your Choice" volunteer detachment from Gluboksky district won in the nomination "Best Volunteer Detachment among Working Youth". The best landscape composition, according to the jury, was created this year by members of the primary organization of the BRSM of KUP VKH "Orsha Vodokanal". And the best volunteer of the region was recognized as the commander of the volunteer detachment "Who, if not us?" of the primary organization of the BRSM of Polotsk Gymnasium No. 2, Alla Lapkina, who took an active part in all the detachment's events. The competition is held annually to involve young people in the improvement of monuments of military glory, mass graves, territories of settlements, recreational areas, water protection zones and coastal strips of water bodies, parks, cultural, historical and spiritual heritage sites, as well as for the purpose of patriotic, ecological, moral and spiritual education of youth. -0-
