April 4, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The best large family of the city will be chosen in Vitebsk today, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk City Executive Committee.
The annual city review competition, timed to coincide with Family Day, will be held at the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth of Vitebsk. Eight family teams will compete for the title of winner. The jury members will determine which of them truly deserves this title based on the results of performances in the competitions "Hello - It's Us!", "Our Family", acquaintance with exhibitions of family creative works "Our Golden Hands" and homemade baking "Delicious, Finger-Licking Good".
The best family team will be awarded a monetary prize as a reward, and will also receive the right to represent Vitebsk at the regional review competition.
The event is held with the aim of enhancing the prestige and authority of large families, strengthening their unity, spiritual and moral foundations, reviving and promoting family values and traditions. This is one of the most significant events of the National Program for Demographic Security of the Republic of Belarus and the Demographic Security Program of the Vitebsk Region, the City Executive Committee emphasized. -0-
