A meeting and negotiations between the head of the Belarusian state and the President of Russia are planned in Moscow. The leaders of the countries will discuss the current agenda of Belarusian-Russian relations, focusing on topical issues of trade and economic interaction, including as a follow-up to previous meetings and telephone conversations.

It is expected that issues of cooperation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic and further steps to restore full transport links will be raised.

Union-related topics are among the priority issues. In addition, Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will discuss a joint response to current challenges and threats, and exchange views on international agenda issues and the regional situation.
