President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has announced his upcoming meeting with President of Russia Vladimir Putin and a visit to China. He made this statement at a meeting on the development of mechanical engineering in Belarus, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"In a couple of days, we will meet with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. And if we need to discuss any issues at our level, we will discuss them," said the head of state.
"Speaking about our cars and so on, we have agreed with Russia to synchronise our relations. I would ask you to strictly adhere to our agreements with the Russian Federation. We must understand that Russia is also going through difficult times," the President noted. "The recycling fee – we have also reached an agreement. How is this being implemented today, and do we have any problems with the Russian Federation?"
Alexander Lukashenko noted that the coming year would be challenging for certain reasons. "And our traditional markets, where we have worked successfully, need to be expanded.
