President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of his compatriots and himself, congratulated the President-elect of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, on the national holiday – Independence Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Mexico's sustainable development and the growth of its influence on the international stage are based on principles close to Belarus: independence, equality, justice, respect, and the pursuit of peaceful coexistence," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State noted Belarus's interest in building strong and systemic Belarusian-Mexican relations. "I am convinced that our countries have significant potential for strengthening political dialogue and expanding constructive cooperation in trade, economic, and other areas," the President emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo excellent health and professional longevity, and all Mexicans – peace, unity, and prosperity.
