President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik Al Said and the people of that country on their National Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"This holiday symbolises the wisdom, unity and creative power that drive the state forward while remaining true to traditions. Belarus observes the Sultanate's high achievements with great respect and is ready to contribute to its progress," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State emphasised the strong bond that exists between Belarus and Oman. "I recall with particular warmth the meetings with you – in December 2024 in Muscat and in October 2025 in Minsk. The bilateral dialogue has become truly historic and marked a new chapter in Belarusian-Omani relations," the Belarusian leader noted.
Alexander Lukashenko pointed out that Belarus and Oman have jointly laid a solid foundation for multifaceted partnership – from increasing trade turnover in the fields of industry, agriculture, food security, and pharmaceuticals to establishing joint ventures. Investment activities have received a qualitative impetus, and cooperation in culture, education, and tourism has expanded, he added.
"All the aforementioned areas are reflected in the Roadmap for the Development of Bilateral Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Sultanate of Oman, signed in October 2025. I count on the active work of both sides in implementing this programme document under the guidance of the Joint Committee for Cooperation and Investment," the President stressed.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Haitham bin Tarik Al Said health, inspiration, and new successes in serving the Motherland: "May the Sultanate of Oman continue to prosper under your visionary leadership, and may the friendship between our countries only grow stronger."
