Belarus and Russia will certainly cope with the tasks of import substitution. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at a meeting with the Governor of the Chelyabinsk region of Russia, Alexei Teksler, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"Today, the issue of import substitution has come to the forefront. We are talking about it. This is well understood at the highest level - both by you and by us. It is a difficult task, but the future of our countries will largely depend on the results of its solution. But we are already seeing today, working intensively on import substitution, that we will solve this problem. It cannot be that we cannot solve it. We will certainly cope with the solution of this task, and we have enough prerequisites," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
