"The emergence of an independent Estonian state on the political map of the world in the last century marked the beginning of its modern history. Self-determination is not only attractive prospects but also responsibility for the fate of one's people. It demonstrates maturity and unwavering faith in the future for descendants," the congratulatory message reads.
The President noted that Minsk and Tallinn have been in new realities for over a quarter of a century, which have created additional opportunities for enterprises, institutions, and ordinary people. "At the same time, the years of independence have not deprived us of all the valuable and necessary things that have been accumulated by many generations of our compatriots," emphasized Aleksandr Lukashenko. "Belarus, as before, advocates for the continuation of comprehensive cooperation with Estonia, the effective use of human potential and the unique experience of many years of joint work. Today, first and foremost, we must interact for security in the region and confidence in the future for our children. Belarusians have always been and will remain your good neighbours, ready to jointly ensure the achievement of such an important goal."
