Alexander Lukashenko noted that over the past hundred-plus years, Finland has achieved remarkable success in its development, becoming an example for many countries around the world in terms of living standards, education, innovation, and medicine.

"Belarus has always treated Finland with respect as a mentally close, reliable partner. I am convinced that Minsk and Helsinki will soon be able to resume a full-fledged political dialogue. We are consistently interested in continuing fruitful cooperation with the Finnish side in the fields of green economy, energy, science and education, forestry, and agriculture," the congratulatory message reads.
