President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi on Pakistan Day. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"This date is a true symbol of the formation and inviolability of your country's sovereignty, which is confidently forging its own path of development despite external challenges," the Head of State noted. "Belarus attaches great importance to the traditionally good relations with Pakistan, based on the principles of mutual respect and friendship."
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that the dialogue between Minsk and Islamabad is intensifying and a number of bilateral events are planned, which should support the expansion of cooperation in various fields at a high political level, primarily in trade.
The Head of State wished the President of Pakistan good health and professional success, and the people of Pakistan peace and happiness.
