Head of State Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank" on its 100th anniversary. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"You can rightly be proud of the century-long history of the country's truly people's bank, whose reputation for reliability has been built by several generations of highly qualified specialists," the congratulatory message reads.
Today, Belarusbank is the leader of the domestic financial market, its extensive network of branches and offices serves enterprises and citizens both in regional centres and in small settlements and agro-towns, the President noted. "Your active lending to investment projects, buyers of domestic goods, participation in the implementation of the most important state programs and the introduction of innovative banking technologies support the economic development of the country and contribute to the growth of our people's well-being," the Belarusian leader emphasized. "The activities aimed at expanding the accessibility of banking services and supporting the most important state initiatives in the social sphere deserve special public recognition."
Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the Belarusbank team will preserve its traditions and continue its progressive movement at the forefront of the country's banking system. "I wish everyone good health, happiness, well-being, and the implementation of the boldest professional ideas for the prosperity of the Republic of Belarus," the President added.
