President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the people of Denmark on their national holiday – Constitution Day, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"For many years, Belarus and Denmark have successfully developed cooperation in the fields of high technologies, industry, animal husbandry, climate protection, and wind energy. We can rightfully be proud of our high socio-economic standards, which have become an excellent example for many countries around the world," the congratulatory message reads.

Today, these achievements are under threat from unfair sanctions and the escalation of military hysteria, which brings neither side anything but a decline in living standards and uncertainty about the future, the Belarusian leader is convinced.

The Head of State noted with satisfaction that Belarusians and Danes, despite all contrived contradictions, have managed to maintain the ties established over decades in the spheres of trade, investment, and culture.

"I am convinced that only equal dialogue, mutual respect, and the continuation of bilateral cooperation will bring peace and tranquility back to our common region," the President emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the people of Denmark peace and prosperity.
