"In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, we recall how the defenders of the borders were the first to heroically withstand the enemy's blow. Guarding the Motherland's frontiers today, you continue the glorious traditions of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War - you firmly stand guard over the state's security," the congratulation reads.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that the border guard service is one of the most prestigious and responsible, and it is only within the capabilities of true patriots, loyal to their military duty and devoted to the Fatherland.
"I am convinced that thanks to the significant transformations in the border sphere, the high professionalism and constant combat readiness of the personnel, the courage and bravery of the employees, our state and the Belarusian people are reliably protected," the President emphasized.
The Head of State addressed special words of gratitude to the veterans who dedicated their lives to the noble mission of preserving peace on Belarusian land.
