The Head of State urged young people to link their future with Belarus. "I say this not because I am the President. This is your land. Here, on this land, you will always be needed. You will be at home here. You will be masters here. Your knowledge, skills, and initiative will definitely find application. Love your country, work for its benefit. You will be able not only to achieve material prosperity but also to earn the respect of your fellow countrymen – and this is more important than money," Alexander Lukashenko advised.
"You, the young people, are responsible for our Belarus. Its well-being, stability, and peaceful existence are, from today, in your hands," said the Head of State, addressing the graduates.
The President emphasized that the Belarusian people will be able to look to the future with confidence if the youth strive to create and be masters of their land, understand and appreciate beauty and goodness. It is important for young people to respect the wise traditions bequeathed by their ancestors and to try to leave behind as much good as possible for future generations, added Alexander Lukashenko.
