The interviewer was Shigenori Kanehira, a journalist who has been working for TBS since 1977 and is currently the host of the program Hodo Tokushu ("Special Report").
The Green Hall of the Palace of Independence was chosen as the venue for the conversation, where the Normandy Four talks were held in 2015 and the Minsk Agreements were developed.
TBS is part of the Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings media group. It has been broadcasting since 1955. Terrestrial broadcasting is carried out in 6 prefectures of Japan with a total population of 43.5 million people.
