President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave an interview to Chinese media – Xinhua News Agency and China Media Group, BelTA reports.

The interviewers were identified as Lu Jinbo, head of the Xinhua News Agency bureau in Belarus, and Li Tungtung, correspondent for China Media Group and host of the "Leaders' Talk" program.

Xinhua News Agency, founded in 1931, is currently considered China's most influential online resource. Multimedia news reports are broadcast around the clock in eight languages, including Russian. The agency's audience is estimated to range from 800 million to 1 billion people. Xinhua has 35 branches in China and over 180 correspondent offices abroad, including in Minsk.

China Media Group is one of the largest in the world. It was established in 2018 based on China Central Television, China National Radio, and China Radio International. The corporation also includes the CGTN international broadcasting television channel network. China Media Group's content is available in 143 countries and regions worldwide, with an audience reach of over 1 billion people in China and beyond.
