The President wished those gathered good health and spirits. "If you are in a good mood, everything will work out for us," he said.
Alexander Lukashenko recalled that Belarus was and remains a peaceful country. "We are not going to fight. And if someone wants to, we will meet them with dignity. But we don't have such enemies yet," he emphasized. "So live peacefully. Everything will be alright."
The Head of State noted that, following a good tradition, he celebrates Easter in different regions of Belarus. This year, the President visited his small homeland during the bright Easter days.
Alexander Lukashenko presented the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary with the icon "Savior Almighty" by master Dmitry Poluyanov. In this icon, Jesus Christ holds the Gospel in his left hand, and his right hand is raised in a blessing gesture. The Head of State received the blessed icon "The Last Supper," created by the masters of the Kuteinsk Brotherhood, as a gift.
