Trade unions at all levels will support the government in Belarus. This was stated by the Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko, today at a meeting with the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, Mikhail Orda, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

"I want to warn you that you should not make excuses to anyone. Because we see, and I especially do, what kind of pressure is being exerted on official trade unions today. Therefore, under no circumstances should anyone make excuses to anyone. Especially not go on the defensive. Trade unions have worked and will continue to work. The government will support trade unions at all levels," the Belarusian leader emphasized.
