Lukashenko and Patriarch Kirill discussed the state of affairs in the church and interfaith relations in a telephone conversation.

Late last evening, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The focus was on the situation in Belarus and Russia. "The emphasis during the conversation was placed on the topic of interfaith relations. And, of course, the interlocutors discussed the state of affairs in the church as a whole," the press service reported.
