The presidents' attention was focused on a number of international issues. Including the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
In connection with the existing European problems, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Belarus and Russia. And they exchanged detailed information on the internal situation in the countries.
Significant attention was paid during the conversation to the situation with the spread of COVID-19, and concern was expressed about the increase in the incidence of this infection.
The presidents discussed further actions to normalise transport links - air, rail, and road - between the two countries.
Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin also paid great attention to the analysis of the recent joint military exercises "Slavic Brotherhood - 2020".
In addition, the heads of state discussed in detail the outcomes of the VII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, and emphasised the crucial role of direct contacts at the level of regional and enterprise leaders in bilateral relations. It was expressed with conviction that the citizens of the two countries should primarily feel the positive results of this joint work. -0-
