Already this coming weekend, Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will hold previously agreed-upon negotiations. The head of the Belarusian state announced this meeting while communicating with journalists from foreign and Belarusian media: "We have agreed to meet in the near future."
The agenda for the negotiations has been determined, and there are many issues to discuss. Traditionally for meetings between the leaders of Belarus and Russia, this is a wide range of the most important and fundamental topics for bilateral relations: security issues, the international agenda, economic interaction, the implementation of Union State programmes, joint opposition to illegal sanctions pressure, and much more.
