On November 1, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The main topic of the conversation was the upcoming summit of the CSTO heads of state in November. Belarus currently presides over the organization.

The leaders of the countries also discussed the topics of bilateral cooperation, focusing on key areas, including energy and import substitution projects.

Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin also coordinated their positions on current issues of the regional and international agenda.
