"Over many years of fruitful work, you have made a significant contribution to the treasury of spiritual values of the Belarusian people and have defined the directions of development of national culture," the head of state noted.
The roles played by Rostislav Yankovsky on the stage of the M. Gorky National Academic Drama Theatre and in films, being examples of unsurpassed acting skill and the ability to subtly convey the multifaceted character of his heroes, are loved by many generations of viewers, the congratulation reads.
"Your commitment to high moral ideals, which are so necessary in the modern, rapidly changing world, and your selfless dedication to your beloved profession serve as a benchmark for young artists," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
The President wished the jubilarian a long life, good health, and well-being.
