This was noted by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, speaking on July 1 at the plenary session of the VIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The Head of State expressed the opinion: "The key task is to enhance the global competitiveness of our countries, which is practically impossible in the modern world without serious innovations. In the real production sector of our economies, unfortunately, the share of high-tech industries and the dynamics of its growth are extremely insufficient."
Aleksandr Lukashenko is confident that the transition to the creation of digital platforms will contribute to increasing the innovative potential of Belarus and Russia. "They can become key tools for the digital transformation of traditional industries and markets," believes the President of Belarus.
