Technological and labour discipline are crucial elements in any economy
Technological and labour discipline are crucial elements in any economy. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, today, while approving the appointment of heads of local authorities, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"Nobody has cancelled technological and labour discipline. Do not forget that these are the most important elements in any economy – both planned and market-based. Do not get carried away by the market. If you start playing games with this market, thinking that it will regulate something, you will immediately lose control of the situation, allow a decline, and problems will arise," Alexander Lukashenko pointed out.
The President recalled that the current year is an examination year for all authorities, including those at the local level. "You are on the front line, and people see you. And you also know how our people, who are accustomed to honesty and fairness, assess you," the Head of State noted. "We are taking an exam. Not only I (primarily me), but you too. Without you, nobody will pass any exam, and it will be very difficult for me."
