President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent congratulations to the workers and veterans of agriculture and the processing industry of the agro-industrial complex on their professional holiday. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"Our people have always highly valued the arduous work in the rural field - the most peaceful and creative on earth. For centuries, grain growers have been glorified in poetry and prose, immortalized on artistic canvases, and the wreath of golden ears with flax and clover flowers on the State Emblem of sovereign Belarus has become a vivid symbol of prosperity, abundance, and the immense diligence of all inhabitants of our beautiful country," the congratulation reads.
The Head of State noted that on this day, the results of the agricultural year are summed up and the workers of the agro-industrial complex are honored. "Thanks to you, our own food security is ensured, and the republic confirms its reliability in all export destinations," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized. "I am convinced that important tasks of increasing the yield of various crops, modernizing and constructing modern complexes, introducing advanced production technologies and achievements of domestic agricultural science will be fulfilled and will raise the industry to a new level."
The President wished the workers and veterans of agriculture, as well as their loved ones, health, happiness, and clear skies above their heads.
