President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a working trip to the Orsha district and visiting the agro-town of Kopys, instructed to replicate the experience of creating small bakeries throughout the country, reports BELTA correspondent.
The Head of State, unexpectedly supplementing his route, visited a local bakery that produces bread.
Alexander Lukashenko instructed to expand production in the near future, as there is high demand for products from the Kopys bakery. This experience should also be replicated across the country, in small towns, so that they have their own bakeries.
The Head of State instructed responsible officials to take under control the issue of developing the Kopys bakery, constructing additional facilities, and expanding its capacity: "So that in a year's time, as much bread is baked here as needed. Why? Because I want to see, if everything goes well (and it will), then we should have bread in the districts, small towns, and elsewhere, produced locally (not imported. - BELTA's note)."
"And we need to think about Orsha immediately. We need to ensure that such small bakeries are provided for. What is important is that we must replicate this throughout the country in small settlements, it should be present in agro-towns," emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.
