Belarus and Russia need to be together, we have nothing to divide. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov, according to a BELTA correspondent.
"You are not just close people to us. You are our people. You have come to your Belarus. It will always be like this. The events of recent years and days convince us once again that we need to be together, we have nothing to divide. As soon as we start dividing, they will divide us," the Belarusian leader emphasized.
You know our capabilities, our abilities. You are well acquainted with Belarus, you have a very extensive program. But I propose to immediately identify priority areas for joint work in the near future. Time also dictates that we define them, and very quickly," Alexander Lukashenko noted.
The President also warned the responsible persons in Belarus. "Everything we promise must be ironclad. Make sure we don't disrupt any project," he said.
