"Domestic enterprises are indeed facing barriers artificially created externally. They have affected all stages of the production process: procurement of raw materials, materials, transportation, settlements, finance, credit support, export sales. I remind you, difficulties are not a cause for panic, but one should not expect the situation to resolve itself," Alexander Lukashenko stressed.
The Head of State stated a physical decrease in the sales volumes of potash and oil products. These two items (with a share of 13%) have affected the overall performance of the industrial complex. "It should be noted that these are extremely important goods for the world market, for which there has been a crazy price increase," the President pointed out.
The situation with the export of potash and oil products also negatively affected the transport industry and wholesale trade. The remaining sectors of Belarusian industry are operating at 100% or higher. "I am confident that we will sort out both oil and potash," Alexander Lukashenko stated.
He reminded the meeting participants of the current tasks of the socio-economic development forecast for 2022: to ensure employment, prevent production stoppages, and maintain the current level of population income. "Those with higher labor productivity are doing well, let them be paid more," the Head of State added.
