The Head of State thanked the medical staff for enduring another surge in coronavirus incidence. "I see that you are dealing with great complexities and difficulties, as everywhere, probably, but you are coping. Therefore, thank you very much," the President noted.
According to him, some regions are observing a decrease in the incidence rate. The number of patients is increasing, of course, but not as rapidly as it was two weeks ago. "Overall, we feel this across the country. Therefore, there is a certain cautious optimism that we will break through. That we will break through is certain, but we would like it to be faster," said Alexander Lukashenko.
Addressing the medical workers, the Head of State emphasized the need to continue providing planned care under all circumstances and difficulties. "Imagine that it is war and we are living in wartime. People cannot be cut off from doctors now," the Belarusian leader pointed out. "If a person is not admitted to a polyclinic or a hospital, they start to worry. Therefore, your meeting with a sick person, a patient, or just an elderly woman who came in is already a recovery. Therefore, under no circumstances should you reduce your services."
