When providing financial support for housing construction, the absolute priority for the state is large families and uniformed personnel. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko today, while receiving a report on topical issues of the construction industry development from Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak and Minister of Architecture and Construction Ruslan Parhamovich, BELTA reports.
During the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko touched upon the issue of housing construction. "We are trying to support everyone. What does it mean to support? If it were just a shoulder to lean on – that would be one thing. But this is financing, support with money. And any country always has a shortage of funds. The same is true for us, especially in this situation. So, how will we act in the future? It is clear that there is an absolute priority – these are large families, uniformed personnel, because they cannot earn more than we pay them. And they do not have the right to earn money on the side. Therefore, they need to be supported to some extent," the President noted.
The Head of State inquired about proposals regarding the support of the population in housing construction. "First of all, which categories should be supported? And somewhere, perhaps, suggest that people work for their own apartment," he said.
