"Any war, especially a non-hot, hybrid war, is a struggle for people's minds. And we must protect our people. The question is how. This is what we will discuss. The most important thing is that we must be able to conduct counter-propaganda, as it was called in the Soviet Union," the President said. "I do not renounce this word even today. Yes, we should not be afraid of this word - propaganda. We propagate the best, we agitate for the best. Previously, there were departments of propaganda and agitation in the Central Committee of the party and down to the district committees. They propagated their way of life, waged a struggle, and agitated for all that was best, as we understood it."
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, this is happening now, primarily in the West. "They just laugh at us: 'Propagandists, agitators...' Why do they laugh? To confuse us. Therefore, there is nothing dangerous if we propagate our way of life, our own, and agitate for it. But we must learn to conduct counter-propaganda against the propaganda that is being deployed against us. We need to develop mechanisms for countering it, countermeasures," the Belarusian leader emphasized.
