"It is clear to everyone that the historical era that existed before is ending. And there will be no return to the old order. We cannot allow a new international architecture to be created without us. And such attempts are already being made in the West, and discussions about this are underway. I believe that the CSTO must firmly strengthen its status in the international system of checks and balances," the head of state stated.
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that the organization possesses significant collective potential for further progressive development. "But how effectively it will use it and whether it will survive at all in the next 10-20-30 years depends solely on us today," the President said.
After Armenia, the chairmanship in the CSTO will pass to Belarus. "In addition to the promising areas of work outlined above, we are already seriously considering new proposals aimed at developing our organization. These directions will be communicated to you in the near future. We count on the maximum support and constructive work of all of you, our colleagues. We have no other choice," Alexander Lukashenko summarized.
