President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi and the people of that country on their national holiday – Independence Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"In a short period by historical standards, your beautiful country, while preserving its ethnic identity, has gained statehood and determined its own path of socio-economic transformation," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State noted that relations between Minsk and Islamabad are dynamically developing in a spirit of mutual respect and trust.
"I am convinced that we are capable of effectively strengthening ties in the fields of industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, electric transport production, petrochemicals, education, science and technology," the Belarusian leader emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Arif Alvi good health, happiness and success, and the Pakistani people – progress and prosperity.
