President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the management, employees, and veterans of OJSC "Legmash Plant" on the 80th anniversary of the enterprise's establishment. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
It is noteworthy that the plant's history began in the victorious year of 1945 and has become a chronicle of progressive development and renewal, the head of state noted.
"The Orsha enterprise has come a long way from heating boilers and domestic sewing machines, which were very much needed in the difficult post-war years, to high-tech oil and gas and energy equipment," the congratulation reads. "At the same time, the professionalism of employees and the highest quality of manufactured products have always remained the hallmark of 'Legmash'."
The President pointed out that the plant has now taken another important step – another stage of large-scale reconstruction has been completed, and the production of defence products has been successfully mastered. "You have once again proved that the team is capable of tackling the most complex tasks related to import substitution and innovation," Alexander Lukashenko emphasised. "I am convinced that the plant, which makes a significant contribution to the economy of the country and the Orsha region, will have other technological breakthroughs and great achievements needed by the country in the future."
The head of state wished all employees and veterans of OJSC "Legmash Plant" good health, happiness, peace, kindness, and new production successes.
