He stated this today, answering questions from media representatives after negotiations with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, according to a BELTA correspondent.
"The pandemic will change a lot. You know that I said in Belarus two or three months ago, when these processes just emerged, that someone needs this. It is clear that even if this is not a man-made creation, this coronavirus, many countries will want to use this virus to change the world. Naturally, countries that consider themselves the most important and who see their role in reshaping the world," the Belarusian leader stated. - Therefore, the pandemic will indeed change a lot. But the pressure will not disappear. We must be prepared for this. They will put pressure from all sides, and only the strong will endure. Strong not only in economic, military, political terms, but above all in moral terms."
Alexander Lukashenko noted that during the negotiations with Viktor Orbán, he liked the topic raised by the Prime Minister regarding the identity in the good sense of nationalism and patriotism of peoples. "This factor will play an important role after this pandemic story. And we are ready for it. Hungary even more so, despite the fact that it is in the close European Union. We welcome this. And this is one of the foundations of our future cooperation," the President said.
