Certificates and documents issued to individuals and legal entities (including individual entrepreneurs), the validity of which expires between April 30 and July 31, 2020, will remain valid for another three months. For example, if the validity of a permit expires on May 15, 2020, it will be automatically extended until August 15, 2020.
The Council of Ministers will determine by resolution the exhaustive lists of documents whose validity is extended, and the names of administrative procedures for which such documents are issued.
During the complex epidemiological situation, the proposed measures will reduce the number of visits to state bodies (organisations) for the processing of necessary documents, decrease the administrative burden on citizens and economic entities, and postpone their financial expenses for 3 months.
According to information available to BELTA, the resolution of the Council of Ministers, which defines the list of documents and procedures, will be adopted and published in the near future. It is expected that it will include, in particular, procedures for issuing a medical certificate of health status, a Belarusian citizen's passport (for those residing in their country) due to reaching the age of 14, and a driving license for operating a mechanical vehicle. In addition, it is proposed to include certificates for products (works, services) of own production in the list of documents subject to extension, including services to banks, non-banking credit and financial, insurance organisations, commercial microfinance organisations, and lessors.
