On May 13, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 186 "On the Implementation of an Investment Project in Minsk," as reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.
The document establishes the terms for the construction of the experimental multifunctional complex "Severny Bereg" (Northern Shore) in the northern part of the city, within the boundaries of the MKAD - Pobediteley Avenue - Orlovskaya Street - Tsnyanskoye Reservoir, by the private company "Riverside Development Holdings Limited" (United Arab Emirates).
According to the decree, the complex will include residential buildings with all necessary engineering and transport infrastructure, social facilities, and public facilities with a total area of over 6 million sq. m.
The first phase of construction will focus on the buildings of the International Exhibition Center, the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, and the Minsk International Trade Center.
The investment project will be implemented from 2021 to 2040. The investor will allocate funds totaling over Br10 billion for these purposes.
