President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed the Law "On the Republican Budget for 2022". This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State. 

The country's budget and the estimated indicators for the budgets of the regions and Minsk for 2022 have been developed based on the provisions of the programme documents on the socio-economic development of Belarus, taking into account the prevailing economic situation. Revenues of the republican budget for 2022 are projected at Br27.8 billion. At the same time, the social orientation of budget expenditures will be maintained – a significant part of them will be expenditures on remuneration, payment of pensions, scholarships, benefits, other payments, as well as on the fulfilment of state social standards. 

Laws "On the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Social Protection Fund of the Population of the Republic of Belarus for 2022" and "On Amendments to Laws on Taxation Issues" have also been signed. 

The amendments and additions to the Tax Code are primarily aimed at solving practical taxation issues, further simplifying the procedure for calculating and paying taxes, and improving tax administration.
