"Our historical memory testifies: peaceful skies and creative labour must be reliably protected. We cannot relax! Therefore, we are taking the most decisive measures to strengthen military security," the Belarusian leader stated.
According to him, the Armed Forces make a significant contribution to maintaining the country's high defence capability, and they have been brought into line with the new challenges and threats of the 21st century. The combat readiness of the regional grouping of troops is maintained at the proper level. The consistent strengthening of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is being implemented.
"Every Belarusian can be confident in our state's readiness to defend our sovereignty and independence," the head of state emphasized.
