President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, summing up the results of a meeting on the state and tasks of industrial development, instructed to prepare a meeting at his level on the regulation of intermediation, BelTA reports.
"We need to schedule a meeting with me - let the government report to me on the elimination of intermediation. I have said this ten times already: so that together with the governors, decisions are made. This is a catastrophe," Alexander Lukashenko stated.
The President said that he had spoken with an agronomist a few days ago, and it turned out that he buys chemicals, seeds, and other things in Russia. In Belarus, according to him, all this is also available, but due to intermediaries, the price is three times higher.
"And they have more of these intermediaries than necessary. We agreed on this sometime ago. Somewhere it is impossible to do without these intermediaries. Let the minister make a decision, he will bear responsibility. Or he will establish some transparent system so that we can see what is happening there. But these intermediaries must be removed. We need to do it ourselves. This is a large piece of work," the Head of State noted.
