"We agreed that within this year, each of the chairmen (of district executive committees. - BELTA's note) will implement some investment project so that people are employed. If someone has not yet engaged in agricultural machinery, do so, make proper agricultural machinery. If someone has not organised mobile mechanised brigades (PMK. - BELTA's note), organise them. Because there can be no master of a district who does not have 100-120 construction workers at hand. In general, one proper project per year is needed. Big or small, but so that people see some progress and get jobs," the Belarusian leader emphasised.
Lagging agricultural enterprises must be under special control of district heads, the Head of State is convinced. "Two (rarely three) farms in the district are struggling. You are responsible for them. Tackle them," the President tasked. At the same time, stably operating, successful farms do not need such close attention from local authorities, Alexander Lukashenko believes. According to him, it is precisely on the example of such agricultural enterprises that young specialists should be taught how to work and what to strive for. "You must have one farm that is ideal for showing young specialists where we are moving towards," he said. "People must be taught. But taught not in words, but in deeds."
In addition, the President drew attention to maintaining order in agro-towns and villages.
