President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the management, employees, and veterans of OJSC "Agat – Electromechanical Plant" on the occasion of its 70th anniversary. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Established in the post-war years, back in 1952, the enterprise successfully mastered the production of complex radio-electronic equipment for the Air Force and civil aviation, for which it was awarded a high government honour – the Order of the Red Banner of Labour," the congratulatory message reads. "Today, the 'Agat' trademark is known far beyond the borders of the Republic of Belarus. Thanks to its established production base and the highest qualification of its specialists, the enterprise confidently maintains its position as a high-tech organisation for the production of both military and civilian special equipment. The plant is rightfully one of the key links in the defence sector and a well-known brand of Belarusian industry, producing mobile command and communication systems for military purposes, devices and equipment for automotive, agricultural, and construction machinery."

Possessing significant scientific and technical potential, practical experience, and high professionalism, the cohesive team of the plant will continue to make a worthy contribution to strengthening the state's defence capabilities, developing the country's economy, and improving the well-being of the people, the President is convinced. He wished the management, employees, and veterans of "Agat" good health and well-being, and the enterprise – new successes and prosperity.
