President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated Bola Tinubu on his assumption of the office of President of Nigeria. BELTA was informed about this by the press service of the Head of State.
"I am convinced that your work as the head of state will contribute to its further development and prosperity," the congratulatory message reads.
Over the thirty-year period of Belarusian-Nigerian interaction, the two countries have laid a reliable foundation for comprehensive mutually beneficial partnership, the Head of State emphasized.
"I am confident that the established basis will help to elevate cooperation in the fields of equipment supply and maintenance, education, healthcare and maternal and child protection, industry, agriculture, and food security to a qualitatively new level," added the Belarusian leader. "I hope for further strengthening of traditionally friendly relations for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Nigeria."
Alexander Lukashenko invited Bola Tinubu to visit Minsk at his convenience to discuss the full range of bilateral contacts during a personal meeting.
The President of Belarus wished the President of Nigeria good health and success in his responsible state activities.
